Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Salem for a Computer Science Teacher. The role involves planning and delivering computer science lessons, developing curriculum aligned with educational standards, and fostering an engaging learning environment. The teacher will support students in understanding key concepts in computer science and related fields, assist with inquiries, and evaluate student progress through assessments and feedback.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in Computer Science and Computer Science Education
- Experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development
- Proficiency in Mathematics, as it relates to computer science principles
- Excellent communication and teaching skills, with a passion for education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field is preferred
- Previous teaching experience, especially in computer science, is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt teaching to varying learning styles
