Computer Graphics Engineer Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Computer Graphics Engineer with expertise in 3D modelling and rendering to join our multidisciplinary team. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and optimize high-fidelity 3D models of human anatomy using state-of-the-art graphics technologies. These models will be deployed in interactive educational platforms, simulators, and clinical visualization tools that serve doctors, educators, and students.
This is a high-impact role at the intersection of medical visualization, real-time graphics, and applied healthcare innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop accurate, detailed 3D anatomical models based on medical imaging data (e.g., CT/MRI scans), and clinical references.
- Optimize models for real-time rendering and interaction in Unity/Unreal or WebGL-based platforms.
- Implement shaders, visual effects, and realistic material properties to enhance anatomical realism.
- Collaborate with biomedical experts, UI/UX designers, and developers to ensure anatomical and clinical accuracy.
- Integrate models into AR/VR, simulation, or web-based learning platforms.
- Develop and maintain custom tools and pipelines for anatomical model generation, labelling, and manipulation.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in 3D graphics, anatomical modelling, and visualization toolkits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Graphics, Game Development, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- 25 years of experience in 3D modelling, digital sculpting, or computer graphics, preferably in medical, gaming, or scientific visualization domains.
- Proficiency in tools such as Blender, ZBrush, Maya, 3ds Max, or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of human anatomy and experience working with anatomical references or datasets.
- Experience with real-time rendering engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).
- Familiarity with file formats (FBX, OBJ, glTF, DICOM) and optimization techniques for 3D asset delivery.
- Strong programming/scripting skills in Python and/or C++ for tool development and workflow automation.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with AR/VR frameworks or immersive visualization.
- Knowledge of medical imaging processing tools (e.g., 3D Slicer, ITK/VTK, SimpleITK).
- Background in physiology, biology, or medical informatics.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with clinicians, educators, and designers.
- Understanding of regulatory and ethical standards in digital health tools.
