Job Description Design Draughtsman
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate engineering and tooling drawings (DRG) using AutoCAD and Autodesk software.
- Coordinate with PPC, Sales, and other internal departments to gather design inputs and obtain necessary approvals.
- Update drawings, maintain revision control, and ensure all documents meet quality and engineering standards.
- Provide technical support to the production team by clarifying design specifications and resolving drawing-related issues.
- Achieve daily design targets and meet project deadlines while maintaining high accuracy.
- Work effectively in two rotational shifts as required.
Requirements
- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Drafting / Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD & Autodesk drafting tools.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing drawings, GD&T, and detailing practices.
- Detail-oriented, target-driven, and capable of effective coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
