Job Objective

The Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Administrator (Aveva E3D) is responsible for administering 3D model execution activities and ensuring the integrity, consistency, and efficiency of the project database throughout the project lifecycle with minimal supervision.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Compliance with project design standards and customer requirements
• Contribution to building an efficient and effective design/drafting team
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with high energy and flexibility
• Quality and accuracy of database and project setup

Key Responsibilities

• Set up Aveva E3D project libraries, project folders, PML libraries, and common server configurations
• Initialize and administer Aveva E3D/PDMS global projects across hub and satellite locations
• Create and manage:
• Projects, users, and teams
• Catalogs and specifications
• Databases and MDBs (Multiple Databases)
• Roles, scopes, and ACRs (Access Control Rights)
• Administer Aveva E3D catalogues and specifications using the Catalogue module
• Customize User Defined Attributes (UDAs) using the Lexicon module
• Support multi-disciplinary customization within Aveva E3D
• Manage 2D Draft administration across disciplines using the Draw module
• Administer Isodraft and generate isometric drawings
• Collaborate with discipline leads and users to gather requirements and address project-specific needs
• Ensure database integrity and adherence to project standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in engineering and related field.
