Computational Fluid Dynamics Engineer

Bachelors / Master's in mechanical, Thermal, Aeronautics or related discipline with 8–12 years in CFD focusing on external aerodynamics

• Strong experience in:

• RANS simulations
• Turbulence models (SA, k-ω SST)
• Hands-on experience with aerodynamic coefficient extraction (CL, CD, Cm)

Experience in stability analysis:

• Cm vs AoA
• Stability derivatives (Cmα, Clβ, Cnβ)
• Strong understanding of:
• Mesh sensitivity
• Convergence criteria
• External flow physics

Good to Have

• Experience with CODA solver or equivalent

• Exposure to aircraft programs (wing-body, tail interaction)

• Experience in CFD validation / correlation studies

• Knowledge of loads impact from CFD

Tools & Technologies

• CFD Solvers: CODA / Fluent / Star-CCM+ / OpenFOAM

• Meshing: ANSA / ICEM CFD

• Post-processing: ParaView / Tecplot

• Scripting: Python (preferred)
