Location: Remote (Australian shift timings)
Reports to: Institutional Compliance Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance & Quality Executive to support the compliance operations of our group of Australian Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). This role will assist in maintaining documentation, monitoring quality processes, and ensuring day-to-day compliance with ASQA and VET Quality Framework standards. The position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to coordinate across teams while maintaining high accuracy in data handling and record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of compliance procedures across multiple RTOs in line with Standards for RTOs (2015) and other regulatory requirements.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records, documentation, and version control for compliance and quality systems.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative teams to collect, organize, and update compliance-related information.
- Support internal audits, mock audits, and monitoring activities by preparing documentation and tracking corrective actions.
- Assist in reviewing and updating policies, procedures, and forms under the guidance of the Compliance Manager.
- Compile compliance data and prepare draft reports for review.
- Monitor adherence to compliance checklists and highlight any discrepancies to the manager.
- Provide support in staff compliance inductions and refresher activities.
- Stay updated with compliance requirements and maintain awareness of procedural changes in the VET sector.
Skills, Experience & Attributes
- 13 years experience in compliance, quality assurance, data management, or administration (freshers with strong skills may be considered).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with strong data handling accuracy.
- Knowledge of compliance and quality procedures (education or training sector experience desirable but not mandatory).
- Ability to communicate clearly and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Highly meticulous, precise, and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a remote/offshore environment.
