Compiler tools Engineer

The Systems Software Engineer will contribute to the quality and reliability of the compiler toolchain software stack. This role focuses on infrastructure, build systems, coverage analysis, security compliance, and tooling that integrates seamlessly into developer workflows across cloud and on-prem environments.

Key Responsibilities

Software Infrastructure & Tooling

• Develop and enhance tooling to support compiler toolchain quality, including coverage analysis, SBOM generation, and runtime sanitizers.
• Build and maintain Make-based build systems and integrate them into automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and implement tooling that bridges infrastructure components with developer workflows.

Quality, Compliance & Analysis

• Implement and manage coverage and analysis frameworks such as lcov, gcov, and ASAN.
• Integrate static analysis and security tools into build and validation pipelines.
• Produce actionable quality metrics suitable for compliance-focused environments.

Systems & Platform Engineering

• Work across Linux-based systems and distributed environments to debug issues spanning infrastructure, build systems, and workloads.
• Support cloud and on-prem platforms including Kubernetes, Docker, and virtualized environments.
• Enable logging, monitoring, and alerting capabilities using modern observability stacks.

Automation & Continuous Improvement

• Develop automation using Python and Bash to improve build reliability and developer productivity.
• Explore and apply AI-assisted tooling to accelerate infrastructure and software quality workflows.

Qualifications & Experience

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 24 years of experience in systems software, infrastructure, or tooling development.
