Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented CS Trainee to support the Legal & Secretarial function at iBus. The role will involve assisting in corporate compliance, board processes, regulatory filings, and legal documentation across group entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in end-to-end management of Board Meetings, Committee Meetings, and General Meetings across iBus group entities, including preparation of agenda, notes, and minutes
  • Support in maintenance of statutory registers, records, and corporate documents under the Companies Act, 2013
  • Assist with MCA/ROC filings, including annual filings, event-based filings, and compliance tracking
  • Draft and review board resolutions, notices, circular resolutions, and corporate correspondence
  • Maintain and update compliance trackers for multiple entities, including domestic and overseas subsidiaries
  • Support in secretarial audits, internal audits, and due diligence processes
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants, and regulators for timely compliance closures
  • Assist in legal documentation, including basic contract review and maintaining agreement repositories
  • Track director disclosures, KYC, and interest updates, and ensure timely updates before Board Meetings
  • Support in group restructuring, mergers, and other corporate actions, as applicable

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Pursuing Company Secretary course (Executive/Professional level)
  • Strong understanding of Companies Act, 2013 and basic corporate compliance
  • Prior internship exposure in secretarial/compliance functions will be an added advantage

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset
  • Good drafting and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel for trackers)
  • Ability to manage multiple entities and deadlines
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Willingness to learn in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

As per training requirements under ICSI guidelines
