- Develop and implement financial planning aligned with international freight forwarding business objectives.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for international operations.
- Ensure compliance with FEMA, RBI guidelines, Customs Act, GST, Income Tax, and international conventions (e.g., Incoterms 2020 etc.)
- Liaise with statutory auditors, customs, and regulatory authorities.
- Knowledge of IND AS applicable provisions
- Manage Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees, and international payment instruments
- Oversee credit risk, currency risk, and insurance for cargo movements.
- Oversee billing, invoicing, and reconciliation for freight, demurrage, detention, and other charges.
- Ensure accurate accounting of DDU, DDP, FOB, CIF, and other Incoterms transactions.
- Handle GST on cross-border transactions, export incentives, and transfer pricing compliance.
- Ensure correct application of DTAA (Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements) for non-resident payments.
- Lead, train, and mentor the team.
- Collaborate with operations, sales, and legal teams for contract review and risk and control assessment.
