Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Company Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards and regulations, as well as facilitating effective communication between the board of directors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements under the Companies Act, 2013 and other applicable laws.
  • Maintain statutory registers and records as required under the Companies Act.
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of annual returns and other documents with the Registrar of Companies.
  • Coordinate and organize board meetings, general meetings, and committee meetings.
  • Prepare minutes of meetings and follow up on action items arising from the meetings.
  • Provide guidance on corporate governance matters and best practices.
  • Act as a point of contact for shareholders and manage shareholder communications.
  • Support the management in strategic planning and corporate initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Qualified Company Secretary (CS) from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
  • Strong understanding of corporate law and compliance requirements in India.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and company secretarial software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
