About the role

As a Community Manager, you will own the pulse of our student community. This role is at the heart of campus life, driving energy, participation, and belonging through unforgettable events, student-led initiatives, and everyday engagement.If you thrive on people, love bringing ideas to life on-ground, and believe communities are built through experiences (not just announcements), this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Community Building & Engagement

  • Build and nurture a vibrant, inclusive, high-energy student community
  • Act as the primary bridge between students, student leaders, and internal teams
  • Create rituals, traditions, and moments that strengthen belonging and pride

Events & Experiences

  • Conceptualize, plan, and execute student events: social, cultural, sports, and professional
  • Own end-to-end event execution: planning, logistics, vendors, budgets, and on-ground delivery
  • Ensure high-quality experiences with strong turnout and positive feedback
  • Experiment with new formats like competitions, showcases, socials, summits, and off-sites

Communication & Buzz Creation

  • Drive excitement through WhatsApp, email, and on-campus communication
  • Craft engaging announcements, hype messages, and post-event storytelling
  • Capture student sentiment and feedback to continuously improve engagement
  • Collaborate with marketing and content teams when required

Measurement & Improvement

  • Track engagement metrics such as attendance, participation, and feedback
  • Identify what's working and what needs improvement
  • Continuously refine event formats, communication strategies, and community initiatives

Requirements

  • 1-4 years of experience in community management, events, student programs, or similar roles Experience working with Gen Z audiences
  • Background in student communities, campus life, startups, or youth-focused organizations is preferred.
  • Highly organized and professional with strong execution and follow-through
  • Event management or large-scale community-building experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong people skills and comfort working on-ground with students
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, high-ownership environments
