We're now expanding this ecosystem further by strengthening our industry and founder networks. To do this, we're hiring an Associate – B2B Community & Events to execute outreach, community engagement, and high-quality event operations across our growing ecosystem.
About the Role
This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of relationship building, event operations, and community strategy. As the Associate – B2B Community & Events, you'll not only execute industry mixers and founder talks but also define the ideal customer profile (ICP) for outreach — identifying the right speakers, partners, and attendees who align with NST's mission.
Your goal: make NST's industry ecosystem the go-to platform for meaningful connections in tech and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
B2B Community Ownership
- Build and nurture NST's external community — founders, startup leaders, and ecosystem partners.
- Develop and maintain ICP-based engagement lists and outreach strategies, ensuring each event connects with the right stakeholders.
- Cultivate long-term relationships through consistent touchpoints, communication, and collaboration.
Event Ownership & Execution
- Own the full lifecycle of B2B events — from concept to execution and post-event engagement.
- Plan and execute flagship initiatives such as industry mixers, founder & leader talks, innovation days, and partner showcases.
- Manage speakers, panelists, moderators, and attendees for a seamless event experience.
- Collaborate across academic, operations, and marketing teams to bring events to life with precision and quality.
Outreach & Partnerships
- Design and implement outreach campaigns to bring the right mix of attendees and speakers to each event.
- Build partnerships with startups, accelerators, and innovation enablers to enrich the NST ecosystem.
- Own communication and relationship management across all external stakeholders.
Data & Reporting
- Maintain event and partner databases, focusing on engagement value and growth metrics.
- Track attendance, conversion, and partner satisfaction data to guide continuous improvement.
- Generate monthly reports on community health and outreach efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in B2B community building, partnerships, or event/project operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong relationship acumen.
- Strong ownership mindset — proactive, dependable, and impact-oriented.
- Comfort with digital tools like Google Workspace, Notion, CRM systems, or event platforms.
- Bonus: Experience with startup ecosystems, accelerators, or innovation communities.
