Role Description

The Community Ambassador at Future Ready Foundation will act as a key link between the organization and its intern community. This is a full-time, unpaid remote role focused on driving engagement, accountability, and collaboration within the internal WhatsApp community.

The selected candidate will be responsible for keeping the intern community active, engaged, and aligned with organizational goals. This includes monitoring participation, ensuring timely completion of tasks, and encouraging consistent communication across departments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and actively engaging the WhatsApp community of interns
  • Ensuring all interns are participating, responding, and staying active
  • Tracking whether assigned tasks are being completed on time and effectively
  • Coordinating with different departments to monitor progress and execution
  • Following up with interns on pending tasks, trainings, and deliverables
  • Encouraging collaboration, discussions, and peer support within the community
  • Representing the foundation's values through proactive communication and leadership
  • Collecting feedback and sharing insights to improve engagement and workflow

The role also involves supporting community-building initiatives, representing the foundation in internal and external interactions, and contributing to a positive and high-energy work culture.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly proactive with strong follow-up and coordination abilities
  • Ability to manage groups and maintain high engagement levels
  • Good organizational and accountability-tracking skills
  • Comfortable using WhatsApp, Google Sheets, and basic tracking tools
  • Interest in leadership, community management, and social impact
  • Self-driven and comfortable working in a remote setup
  • Prior experience in student leadership, volunteering, or community handling is a plus
