Job Description

We are seeking a Commission Manager to be a crucial part of our finance team in Bangalore. Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance, you'll be responsible for optimizing and managing our commission structures. This role is vital for ensuring our sales teams are effectively rewarded while staying aligned with our business objectives. You'll need to be highly detail-oriented, with strong analytical and communication skills to work closely with various cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commission Management & Calculation: You'll manage and calculate commission structures to incentivize sales performance and align with corporate objectives. This includes providing operational support for developing and monitoring scorecards and dashboards to accurately track sales performance.
  • Data Analysis & Strategy: Analyze sales data to identify trends and recommend necessary adjustments to commission plans. Your robust analytical skills will be key in reviewing datasets for accuracy and compliance with variable commission plans.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You'll act as a liaison between the Finance, Sales, and HR teams to ensure a seamless commission process. This includes communicating commission plans, providing training to the sales team, and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Reporting & Reconciliation: Monitor and report on commission payments, swiftly resolving any discrepancies. You'll also work with regional finance teams to ensure commission accruals, forecasts, and payments are properly accounted for.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience, preferably in a finance-related field.
  • Education: Any graduate degree is accepted, but a background in Finance is preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Financial Acumen: Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Analytical: Robust analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Technical: Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to give group presentations.
  • Personal Attributes: You must be self-motivated with an extremely strong sense of urgency and have great time management skills to meet strict deadlines.
