Role:

It is a full-time, on-site role for a Commis Junior Chef (Baker) based in Faridabad. The role involves assisting in the preparation of fresh bakery items, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in all culinary processes, and supporting the head chef and team with cooking and baking tasks. The Commis Junior Chef will also help with inventory management, food storage, and maintaining quality standards.

We're looking for a passionate, hardworking Commis Baker / Commis Chef to join our bakery team. This role is ideal for someone early in their careeror with some hands-on experiencewho loves modern baking, enjoys experimenting with new ideas, and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

About You:

- Junior or commis-level experience in a bakery or kitchen (training, internships, or entry-level experience welcome)

- Strong interest in modern desserts, including contemporary pastries, plated desserts, and creative flavor pairings

- Up-to-date awareness of current sandwich trends, fillings, and presentation styles

- Creative mindset with a willingness to learn, take direction, and innovate

- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency

- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards

What You'll Be Doing:

- Assisting with the preparation of desserts, pastries, and sandwiches

- Supporting daily production and service alongside senior team members

- Learning bakery production processes, recipes, and kitchen standards

- Contributing ideas for new products, specials, and seasonal items

- Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and food safety in the kitchen

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in Food Preparation, baking, and general Culinary Skills. Specializes in breads.

- Commitment to maintaining high standards of Hygiene and cleanliness

- Prior experience in a culinary or bakery setting is a plus

- Culinary/bakery school certification or relevant training is preferred

- Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
