Role Description
To assist in the preparation and production of pastries and bread items while maintaining quality, hygiene, and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing doughs, batters, creams, fillings, and pastry items
Support daily production of bread, viennoiserie, and pastry products
Follow standard recipes, portioning, and production schedules
Operate basic bakery equipment safely (mixers, ovens, proofers)
Maintain cleanliness of workstations and tools as per hygiene standards
Follow food safety, temperature control, and FIFO practices
Assist in storage and handling of raw materials and semi-finished goods
Support senior chefs during peak production periods
Minimize wastage and report quality issues to supervisors
Comply with company SOPs, health & safety, and EHS guidelines
