As a Commis I, you'll be part of a passionate kitchen team delivering fresh, high-quality food. You'll support the chefs in daily prep, cooking, and maintaining kitchen standards, ensuring every pizza and plate meets our brand promise.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing ingredients, dough, sauces, and toppings according to recipes and quality standards.
- Cook and plate dishes under supervision of the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control for all menu items.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per FSSAI and company standards.
- Store food items properly and monitor stock rotation (FIFO).
- Support with receiving and checking deliveries, reporting any discrepancies.
- Follow all kitchen safety procedures, including use of equipment and PPE.
- Assist in daily mise en place and closing duties.
- Take ownership of assigned kitchen sections and contribute to smooth service.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or certificate in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts preferred.
- 13 years of experience in a professional kitchen (Continental or Pizzeria experience is a plus).
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service hours.
