Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes according to the menu
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
  • Ensure that food safety and hygiene standards are followed
  • Assist in the inventory management and stock rotation of kitchen supplies
  • Collaborate with senior chefs to learn and implement new cooking techniques
  • Participate in the creation of new menu items and specials

Skills

  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Good knife skills and ability to use kitchen equipment safely and effectively
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of menu planning and food preparation techniques.
