Role Description

This is an internship role for a Commis 1/2/3, located on-site in Gurugram. The role involves assisting in food preparation, supporting culinary operations, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and ensuring high hygiene standards. Additional responsibilities may include assisting senior chefs, learning culinary techniques, and contributing to the quality of dishes served to customers.

Core Responsibilities

• Artisanal Production: Prepare ice creams and desserts (Eggless & Egg-based) strictly following D&N's zero-artificial standards.
• From-Scratch Execution: Manage specialized processes including ice cream making, desserts, bean-to-bar chocolate roasting, nut butter preparation, and slow-infusing vanilla beans.
• Quality Control: Regulate equipment temperatures (ovens, batch freezers) and monitor ingredient quality to ensure every scoop meets our family-safe vision.
• Kitchen Flow: Maintain meticulous food logs, manage inventory to minimize waste, and communicate stock levels to the service team.
• Peer Mentorship: Act as a role model for junior staff, assisting in training and maintaining a positive, high-energy team environment.

Physical & Professional Requirements

• Experience: Fresher or 1-2 years experience
• Education: Degree or Diploma in hotel management
• Stamina: Ability to stand for extended shifts and handle kitchen equipment safely.
• Mindset: A passion for clean labels and a meticulous eye for Dach & Nona style production.
