Description
- Oversee the financial performance of large CAPEX projects, ensuring profitability and cost control.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory standards, and company policies.
- Support project teams by providing financial insights and recommendations for decision-making.
- Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for seamless project execution.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and other key stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial management.
Profile
A Successful Commercial Project Manager Should Have
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a solid understanding of financial principles.
- Minimum 10 years of post-qualification work experience in a relevant role.
- Experience in managing financial aspects of projects within the manufacturing Industry or a related field.
- Has dealt with large greenfield CAPEX projects managing costs, budgets, regulatory compliances and cross functional collaboration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage large and complex financial data.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools relevant to project management.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the industrial/manufacturing sectors.
- A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating financial risks.
