As a Commercial Manager, your main goal is to lead your team, drive sales, and manage the store's overall performance. Your key responsibilities include:
- Team Leadership:
- Build a Strong Team: Develop a motivated and high-performing team that is committed to achieving goals.
- Lead by Example: Encourage your team and create opportunities to boost sales through positive leadership.
- Manage Performance: Oversee Section Managers and store staff, offering guidance and coaching to improve performance.
- Sales & Store Operations:
- Drive Sales: Promote sales growth by analyzing trends like footfall, customer conversion rates, and average purchase value (UPT).
- Achieve Sales Targets: Ensure the store meets its sales targets and adjust strategies when needed to stay on track.
- Seasonal Planning: Make sure the store is prepared for seasonal events and has the right staffing levels in place.
- Store Presentation & Competition:
- Implement Brand Guidelines: Follow and enforce guidelines for visual merchandising (VM) and marketing to maintain the brand image.
- Stay Competitive: Keep an eye on local competitors and take steps to gain an advantage in your market.
- Customer Experience:
- Connect with Customers: Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and preferences.
- Respond to Feedback: Listen to feedback from both customers and staff, and share valuable insights with relevant departments for improvement.
