We are looking for a Commercial Manager to oversee and strengthen our business operations by ensuring sound risk management, legal compliance, efficient vendor management, and effective budgeting processes.

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for managing the commercial backbone of the organization. The role will cover risk assessment, legal and contractual compliance, vendor management, purchase bill processing, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities

Risk Assessment and Compliance

• Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and operational risks

• Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements

Vendor and Purchase Management

• Negotiate purchase bills and ensure accurate and timely processing

• Evaluate vendor contracts, pricing, and terms to optimize value for the company

• Maintain transparent and efficient vendor management systems

Budgeting and Cost Control

• Prepare annual and departmental budgets from a business aspect

• Track, monitor, and report on expenditures against budgets

• Responsible for cost optimization

Commercial Strategy and Governance

• Support management in commercial decision-making

• Ensure proper documentation, records, and audit readiness for all commercial activities

• Act as the bridge between operational teams, finance, and legal to streamline commercial processes

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Law, or related field (MBA preferred)

• 1+ years of experience in commercial management, contracts, vendor management, or risk/legal functions

• Strong understanding of contracts, legal compliance, and budgeting

• Excellent negotiation, documentation, and communication skills

• Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying risks and solutions

• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders

• Good communicator

• Digitally confident – comfortable navigating mobile apps, dashboards, and web tools; able to pick up new software and platforms with ease
