About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Head of Commercial Leasing with deep expertise in the Food & Beverage (F&B) sector, focusing on leasing spaces for restaurants, cafs, QSRs, and premium mall F&B zones. The ideal candidate will have strong industry connections across Mumbai and a proven ability to close high-value F&B leasing deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial leasing strategy for F&B-focused spaces within malls, high-street developments, and premium retail assets in Thane/Mumbai.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant brands, F&B operators, mall developers, IPCs, and property consultants.
- Identify potential tenants, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize lease agreements.
- Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity to guide leasing decisions.
- Ensure an optimal F&B tenant mix aligned with project positioning and customer profiles.
- Oversee the full leasing cycle: site visits, proposal development, financial negotiations, LOIs, and final contracts.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams including legal, finance, and operations for smooth lease execution.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking forums, and F&B summits to strengthen the leasing pipeline.
- Monitor tenant performance, occupancy, and rental income targets.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 1020 years of experience in commercial leasing, with strong exposure to the F&B and retail sectors.
- Strong network within Mumbai's restaurant and mall leasing ecosystem.
- Proven record in closing major F&B leasing deals.
- Strong understanding of commercial terms, leasing structures, and F&B compliance norms.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects across geographies.
