Key Responsibilities
Techno-Commercial Leadership
- Lead coordination between Commercial Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations to achieve commercial plans and order fulfillment targets.
- Evaluate and appraise credit proposals, ensuring compliance with credit policies and risk mitigation practices.
- Analyze customer financial histories, prepare credit reports, and monitor receivables.
- Oversee vendor invoice verification and ensure timely and accurate payments.
Materials & Store Management
- Head complete Raw Material, Packing Material, and Engineering Stores operations.
- Oversee receipt, storage, issuance, and reconciliation of materials as per FIFO norms.
- Conduct perpetual and monthly stock verification and manage rejection and destruction processes.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Quality, and Engineering departments for approvals and testing.
- Ensure optimum inventory levels aligned with Rolling Production Plan (RPP).
- Monitor GRN submissions, stock ageing analysis, and scrap disposal processes.
Logistics & Dispatch Management
- Manage end-to-end logistics and dispatch operations across locations.
- Plan finished goods dispatch as per order commitments.
- Liaise with transporters and freight carriers; negotiate rates and service conditions.
- Implement cost-effective logistics systems ensuring on-time delivery.
- Monitor distribution networks for seamless product movement.
Inventory & MIS Management
- Maintain reduced and optimized inventory levels without impacting production.
- Provide accurate stock valuation and reports to Finance.
- Prepare and monitor MIS and daily performance reports.
- Ensure submission of statutory and government-required data.
Administration & Facility Management
- Oversee facility administration including utilities, rentals, maintenance of staff quarters, vehicles, and factory infrastructure.
- Manage travel arrangements (domestic & international), vendor negotiations, and contract administration.
- Handle security, safety compliance, petty cash, attendance monitoring, and contract staff management.
- Represent the company in contractual meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and government authorities.
- Lead government liaisoning and statutory compliance activities.
Procurement & Purchase Management
- Lead procurement strategy and optimize purchasing processes and costs.
- Negotiate contracts, finalize ARC agreements, and manage supplier performance.
- Authorize purchase orders in coordination with Project Management and Engineering teams.
- Monitor supplier quality, documentation, cost control, and schedule adherence.
- Maintain procurement plans and support project commissioning activities.
- Handle audits and recruitment of procurement team members.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to workplace health and safety standards.
- Take responsibility for building, stock security, and statutory compliance.
