Position Summary

The Commercial Coordinator (P5), based in Chandigarh/Pune, supports the IMDS Commercial Management function by preparing quotes and tenders, reviewing contractual documents, and coordinating cross-functional inputs to ensure timely and compliant commercial deliverables. The role is critical in enabling efficient commercial operations and supporting business growth through high-quality bid preparation and commercial analysis.


Duties And Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain commercial logs, tender documents, reports, budgets, and analyses.
  • Prepare standard quotes for IMDS services and route for approvals per defined processes.
  • Review contractual documents (POs, Work Orders, Service Orders) for compliance.
  • Support negotiation of exceptions in basic contractual documents.
  • Coordinate development of project risk mitigation/opportunity plans.
  • Coordinate internal inputs into tenders (tax, legal, HSE, QA, etc.).
  • Provide guidance on contractual obligations to ensure compliance with terms.
  • Prepare commercial handover documents as per internal procedures.
  • Identify improvement and cost-saving opportunities and support implementation.
  • Train/coach team members on commercial processes and best practices.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduate degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience (Oil & Gas preferred).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to deliver error-free work.
  • Ability to work with global teams across time zones.

Desired:

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Familiarity with Oil & Gas industry.
  • Experience in bid/proposal preparation.
