Collections Manager:Debt Management

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement debt collection strategies to maximize recovery and minimize losses
• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of collection agents, including recruitment, training, performance management, and goal setting
• Monitor collection activities and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
• Review delinquent accounts and determine appropriate collection actions and strategies
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements with debtors in line with company policies and regulations
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities and prepare management reports
• Collaborate with legal, customer service, and other departments to resolve escalated issues
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to debt collection
• Provide regular feedback, coaching, and professional development support to team members
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-driven work environment within the collections team
