Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Collection Officer role based in Noida. The Collection Officer will be responsible for following up with customers on overdue payments through calls, field visits, and other approved channels while adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines. The role involves reviewing customer accounts, analyzing payment histories, and proposing appropriate repayment plans or settlements. The Collection Officer will maintain accurate records of interactions, updates in collection systems, and daily reports on collection status. The role also includes coordinating with internal teams such as credit, operations, and customer service to resolve disputes and ensure timely closure of delinquent accounts, while maintaining professional and respectful customer interactions.
Qualifications

  • Strong Debt Collection skills, including negotiation, follow-up, and familiarity with collection processes and compliance norms.
  • Solid Analytical Skills and basic Finance knowledge to assess customer risk, interpret account statements, and recommend suitable repayment options.
  • Customer Service orientation with the ability to handle objections, resolve issues, and maintain a respectful, solution-focused approach.
  • Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English and local languages preferred.
  • Prior experience in collections, banking, or NBFCs is an advantage; field collection experience in retail or SME portfolios is beneficial.
  • Minimum qualification: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline; relevant certifications in finance or collections are a plus.
  • Comfort working on-site in Noida, with readiness for field visits as required and the ability to meet defined collection targets and timelines.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and collection/CRM systems; strong attention to detail and record-keeping.
