Description
We are seeking a Collection Manager to oversee our collections team and improve the efficiency of our debt recovery processes. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in collections management and a proven track record of achieving targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to maximize recovery of outstanding debts.
- Manage a team of collection agents, providing training and guidance to improve performance.
- Analyze collection data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients and customers to facilitate collections.
- Prepare and present regular reports on collection performance to management.
- Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements with customers as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies in all collection activities.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4-9 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using collection software and databases.
- Ability to analyze financial data and generate actionable insights.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to debt collection in India.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
