Collection Manager

We are seeking an experienced Collection Manager to oversee our collections team and ensure timely collection of outstanding debts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in collections and will be responsible for developing strategies to improve collection rates while maintaining positive client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize overdue accounts.
• Lead and manage a team of collectors to achieve collection targets.
• Monitor the collection process and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
• Analyze collection data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Communicate with clients to resolve payment issues and negotiate payment plans.
• Prepare regular reports on collection performance and present to senior management.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in credit and collections management.
• Strong understanding of collection laws and regulations in India.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in using collection software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
