Collection manager(personal Loan)

Description

We are seeking an experienced Collection Manager to oversee our collections operations in India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing collections strategies, leading a team, and improving recovery rates.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective collection strategies to improve recovery rates.
• Manage the collections team to ensure targets are met and performance is monitored.
• Analyze customer accounts to identify delinquency trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Communicate with customers regarding outstanding debts and negotiate payment arrangements.
• Prepare reports on collection performance and present findings to senior management.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities and account statuses.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve customer issues.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4-13 years of experience in collections or credit management.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in collection software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of legal regulations regarding debt collection in India.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
