We are seeking a motivated Collection Executive to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for freshers who are eager to start their career in finance and collections. The Collection Executive will be responsible for managing the collection process, communicating with clients, and ensuring timely payment of outstanding accounts.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the collection process for outstanding payments.
- Communicate with clients regarding overdue accounts and payment arrangements.
- Maintain accurate records of all collections activities.
- Prepare and send out collection letters and notices.
- Resolve client disputes and discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate reporting of receivables.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with clients via phone, email, or in-person.
- Report on collection progress and provide insights to management.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with accounting and financial software is a plus.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of collection laws and regulations in India.
