Job Title: Collection Executive
Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Collection Executive to manage and collect outstanding payments from customers. The candidate should have strong customer handling skills, basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow up with customers for timely collection of outstanding payments (via calls, emails, and visits if required)
Maintain and update records of customer accounts and payment status
Check and verify bills, invoices, and outstanding balances
Coordinate with the accounts team to reconcile discrepancies
Handle customer queries related to billing and payments professionally
Ensure proper documentation of all collection activities
Prepare reports on collection status and outstanding dues
Maintain good relationships with customers while ensuring timely recovery
Required Skills:
Good communication and customer handling skills
Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Working knowledge of Tally
Ability to check bills and track outstanding payments
Attention to detail and accuracy
Problem-solving and negotiation skills
Qualification & Experience:
Graduate in Commerce or any related field preferred
1–3 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable
Freshers with good accounting knowledge may also apply
Other Requirements:
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word)
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Honest and trustworthy with financial data
