The MSME business development intern will be responsible for reaching out to micro, small & medium enterprises (MSMEs) across assigned territories and introducing them to our payment solutions. This role involves lead generation, consultative selling, relationship management, and onboarding support. This is a performance-driven internship with strong learning exposure and potential full-time conversion.
Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Lead generation & outreach:
- Identify and approach MSMEs within assigned geography
- Conduct cold calls, and follow-ups
- Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline
- Product presentation & consultative selling:
- Understand client requirements and payment challenges
- Present tailored payment solutions
- Explain product features, onboarding process, and commercial terms
- Relationship management:
- Build strong relationships with business owners and key decision-makers
- Address objections and resolve queries full-time
- Deal closure & onboarding:
- Ensure timely follow-ups for conversion
- Support documentation and onboarding processes
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth activation
- Market intelligence :
- Share feedback on customer concerns and competitor offerings
- Provide insights to improve product positioning
