Senior ColdFusion Developer
Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior ColdFusion Developer with 58 years of experience to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ColdFusion frameworks, database integration, and secure coding practices, with proven ability to deliver scalable, audit-ready solutions in regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain ColdFusion applications using CFML and frameworks (ColdBox, FW/1, Fusebox).

• Build reusable components and modules for enterprise-scale projects.

• Database Integration:

• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers across Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.

• Ensure efficient data modeling and performance tuning.

• API & Integration:

• Implement RESTful and SOAP APIs for third-party integrations.

• Collaborate with front-end teams to integrate modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Vue).

• Security & Compliance:

• Apply OWASP best practices for secure coding.

• Ensure compliance with PII/PHI handling standards in healthcare and regulated industries.

• Performance & Troubleshooting:

• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.

• Monitor application health and resolve production issues proactively.

• DevOps & Deployment:

• Work with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

• Manage deployments across Windows/Linux servers and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

Required Skills & Experience

• 58 years of professional experience in ColdFusion/CFML development.

• Strong knowledge of ColdBox, FW/1, Fusebox frameworks.

• Advanced SQL skills with experience in Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL.

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX.

• Experience with secure coding practices, encryption, and compliance frameworks.

• Familiarity with Git/SVN version control and CI/CD pipelines.

• Exposure to enterprise-scale applications and regulated environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare IT, medical devices, or telehealth platforms.

• Knowledge of data governance, audit-proof automation, and BI-ready solutions.

• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
