Cognizant is looking for an experienced Automation Testing professional with 4-9 years of experience in the job market context of India. The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, be a team player, and have a strong understanding of the latest testing methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute automation test scripts using industry-standard automation tools
• Collaborate with development and quality assurance teams to identify and resolve defects
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Continuously improve test processes and methodologies
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of high-quality software
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 4-9 years of experience in automation testing
• Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or TestComplete
• Strong programming skills in Java or Python
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA
• Experience with API testing and knowledge of RESTful services
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• ISTQB certification is a plus
