Vehicle Management:
- Pre Charging Vehicle Checks - Before Bus Entry at depot
- Checking of legal documents Vehicle fitness, Insurance, etc.
- Reporting of crashes post vehicle inspection as per the format
- Availability & condition of hardware (Seat Belts, Speed Governor, reflective Tapes and Fire extinguisher) as required under CMVR and GCM guideline & escalation to Operations/Maintenance Manager
- Monthly meeting with Depot Manager/Operation Manager/Maintenance Manager to summarize the deviations with respect to driver's and vehicle condition.
- Feedback to the appropriate line managers on concerns , issues, etc.
Journey Risk Management
- Rest allowances: Driver to get adequate rest before undertaking journey.
- Routes Familiarity: Driver should know the routes before undertaking journey and associated risks.
- One to One counseling on driver's behavior
- Driver's individual violation/activity scorecard to record number of trips, most common routes, violations
- Accident investigation
- Mystery follow-ups (at least one route every month)
- Monitoring behavior against defined rules route deviations, over speeding, Harsh Acceleration, Harsh Braking, abnormal driving patterns etc.
- One to one counseling on completion of each journey.
MIS & Record Keeping:
- Driver's training record
- Driver's pre-journey & post journey counseling records every driver
- Daily Tool Box Talks with signature of drivers
