Why this role matters

- We are building a B2C healthcare coordination platform for Indian familiesstarting with urban, dual-income households managing healthcare for aging parents and children, often across cities.

- This is not a doctor booking app.

- This is about care orchestration, trust, continuity, and outcomes.

- As CTO & co-founder, you will own the entire tech vision and execution, from day-zero architecture to scale, security, and AI-driven intelligence.

- What you'll build (0 1 scale)

1. Product & Architecture Ownership

- Design and build the core consumer app (mobile-first; Android priority, iOS next)

- Architect systems for:

- User profiles (multi-member family graphs)

- Medical records ingestion & normalisation (reports, prescriptions, diagnostics)

- Care workflows (appointments, reminders, follow-ups)

- Payments & subscriptions

- Make pragmatic early-stage tech choices with a clear scale path

2. AI / ML Foundations (practical, not hype)

- Build ML-driven intelligence into the product:

- Smart health summaries from unstructured medical data

- Risk flags & care nudges for chronic conditions

- Personalised care journeys (parents vs kids)

- Work with LLMs responsibly for:

- Medical document parsing

- Conversational care guidance (non-diagnostic, compliant)

- Decide what to build in-house vs API vs open-source

3. Security, Privacy & Compliance (non-negotiable)

- Own health data security end-to-end:

- Encryption, access controls, audit logs

- Ensure compliance with:

- India DPDP Act

- Healthcare data best practices (HIPAA-inspired even if not mandated)

- Build trust as a product feature, not a checkbox

4. Engineering Leadership

- Start as a hands-on builder (you write code)

- Hire and lead a lean, high-quality engineering team over time

- Set engineering culture: velocity, quality, ownership

- Establish dev, release, QA, and monitoring processes

5. Co-founder Responsibilities

- Be a true thought partner on:

- Product strategy

- Build vs buy decisions

- Fundraising tech narrative

- Investor and enterprise credibility

- Translate ambiguous healthcare problems into elegant technical solutions

- Share responsibility for success and failure equally

Ideal Founder Profile

Must-haves

- 815 years of experience in:

- Consumer tech, health-tech, fintech, or platform products

- Strong backend + system design skills (Node/Java/Python, scalable APIs, cloud-native architecture)

- Experience building consumer-grade mobile products

- Clear understanding of data security & privacy

- Comfortable with 01 ambiguity and startup chaos

- Strong pluses

Prior experience in:

- Health-tech, insurance-tech, or regulated industries

- AI/ML applied to real-world products

- Subscription or recurring-revenue products

- Previously built or scaled a startup (even if it failed)

- Familiarity with India healthcare ecosystem (labs, hospitals, diagnostics)
