Position: CNC VTL / CT Operator
Industry: Manufacturing / Machining
Qualification: SSLC, HSC, ITI, Diploma, or Any Degree
Experience: Experience operating FANUC-controlled machines
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) and CNC Turning (CT) machines with FANUC controls.
- Perform machine setup including tool installation, zero setting, and job loading.
- Interpret engineering drawings, CNC programs, and work instructions.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to offsets and tool parameters.
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
- Ensure parts meet required tolerances and quality standards.
- Conduct routine cleaning, tool changes, and basic preventive maintenance on machines.
- Identify machining issues such as tool wear, dimensional errors, and surface finish problems.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, programmers, and quality teams.
Shift Time: Day(8.00AM TO 4.30PM SHIFT) & Night(7.00PM TO 3.30AM SHIFT)
Working Hours: 8hrs-Shift + 2.5 hrs (OT)*
