Job Description

STRATEGY & GOVERNANCE:

  • Create, drive, and lead the local CMI strategy based on business challenges
  • Build the CMI roadmap (plan, budget), prioritize key topics, and mobilize resources
  • Set up project teams, governance, tools, and methods aligned with India's business strategy
  • Manage the local team and its budget develop talents and lead cross-functional projects



INSIGHTS & BUSINESS ACTIVATION:

  • Drive consumer & shopper journey insights to influence Activation/Go to Market strategies
  • Consolidate 360° local analyses to generate strategic recommendations
  • Integrate market data and consumer insights into studies and business analysis
  • Share local insights with Zone CMI teams to support international strategy



COLLABORATION & UPSKILLING :

  • Communicate, advice and influence (in the daily life or strategic meetings) the right levels in the organization to impact business decisions
  • Upskill local teams by sharing CMI expertise, introducing innovation and by leveraging internal and external benchmarking and networking build and transmit a consumer centric culture
  • Manage the local team and its budget, develop talents, and manage cross functional projects



Key Deliverables:

  • Delivery of the research studies on time and actionable insights from every research
  • Focus on ROI based planning on media spend & e-commerce analytics
  • Driving insights on offline & strengthening insights for digital channels
  • Focus on new-age technologies to find new consumers
  • Focus on social listening tools

The Successful Applicant

A strong candidate should have 14-15 years of experience with depth of knowledge and application of CMI, preferably in CPG industry

MARKET REASEARCH EXPERTISE

  • Demonstrates expertise on all types of market research methodology, panel analysis, statistics and big data (experience in quantitative research is a must)
  • Oversee the design and execution of primary and secondary research projects, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and data analysis.
  • Utilizes statistical and qualitative analysis techniques to extract meaningful insights from raw data.
  • Translates consumer and trends into meaningful insights



BRAND, CONSUMER AND DIGITAL KNOWLEDGE

  • Masters consumer, product and brand knowledge
  • Integrates retail, shopper & and digital perspectives (strategy and appropriated methodologies)



STRATEGIC THINKING AND BUSINESS OUTLOOK

  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset
  • Adaptable to changing business priorities and market dynamics



COLLABORATIVE LEADERSHIP

  • Shares & leverages best practices
