Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and develop ServiceNow solutions across ITSM and CMDB modules.
Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Server.
Ingest, normalize, and maintain data from external systems (asset, monitoring, and networking tools).
Develop scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts), workflows, and Flow Designer automations.
Support platform upgrades, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and documentation.
Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Monitoring teams to align data models and processes.
Developed Procedures for CMDB data validation
Implementation on Discovery module end to end.
Discovering devices as Servers, Computers, IP Switches,, Load Balancers, AWS devices , VMware's, Routers and DB)
Required Skills
Strong JavaScript skills (server-side and client-side) with solid Glide API experience.
Expertise in REST/SOAP integrations and JSON/XML data handling.
Good understanding of ITSM processes and CMDB/ CSDM fundamentals.
Experience with data imports, transform maps, and automation workflows.
User, group, and role management; data tables, fields, and relationships; form customization; UI policies; and business rules.
Notifications and email alerts configuration.
Reporting, dashboards, and metrics.
Ability to troubleshoot, document, and deliver upgrade-safe configurations.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Certifications
- ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS ITSM / ITOM / Discovery /Event Management).
