About the Role
As a Manager II - Deputy Cluster Manager in DH Operations, you will own end-to-end operations for a cluster of 8 - 12 dark stores, ensuring seamless execution from inbound to dispatch.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end operations for a cluster of 8 - 12 dark stores, ensuring seamless execution from inbound to dispatch.
- Drive excellence across inbound, putaway, picking, packing, and last-mile dispatch processes with strict adherence to SLAs.
- Own and optimize critical store KPIs - putaway TAT, receiving adherence, picking/packing efficiency, defect rates, damages, shrinkage, and overall cost metrics.
- Ensure high inventory accuracy across stores through strong control mechanisms, audits, and loss-prevention initiatives.
- Drive quality compliance across handling, storage, and dispatch processes while standardizing SOPs across all nodes.
- Lead Store Managers and large ground teams, ensuring manpower alignment across throughput demands and extended-hour store formats.
- Continuously improve throughput, reduce shrinkage and damages, and drive cost efficiencies across the cluster.
- Own operational performance reviews through structured dashboards, governance cadence, and metric-driven accountability.
Qualifications
- Qualification: Graduation, MBA preferred (Operations/Supply Chain) or equivalent experience
- Experience: 3–6+ years in warehouse/dark store/fulfilment center operations with exposure to multi-site management
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of end-to-end warehouse operations — inbound to dispatch
- Proven experience managing large ground teams across multiple locations
- Hands-on with dashboards, KPIs, and data-driven operational reviews
- Strong execution focus with ability to operate in high-volume, high-pressure environments
- Process-oriented mindset with experience enforcing SOPs and driving accountability
