Cluster Manager – QSR

Job Title: Cluster Manager – Quick Service Restaurants (QSR)

Location: Hyderabad

Budget: 10–12 LPA

Joining: Immediate / 30 days max

Role Summary:

The Cluster Manager will oversee a cluster of QSR outlets in Hyderabad, ensuring operational excellence, sales growth, and adherence to brand standards across all assigned stores. The role requires a hands‑on leader with strong multi‑unit QSR experience from a fast‑moving food chain, capable of driving teams to deliver outstanding customer experience and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day‑to‑day operations of multiple QSR outlets within the assigned cluster, typically 8–15 stores (exact number as per business).
  • Drive sales, AOV and transaction count to achieve monthly revenue and profitability targets for each store and the overall cluster.
  • Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, food safety, FSSAI and hygiene standards; conduct regular audits and take corrective actions where required.
  • Maintain high standards of speed of service, product quality and customer experience during peak and non‑peak hours.
  • Lead, coach and develop Store Managers, Shift Managers and front‑line teams; ensure effective manpower planning, scheduling and deployment.
  • Recruit, train and onboard new team members in coordination with HR and Training teams.
  • Monitor key metrics such as labor cost, food cost, wastage, inventory variance and other controllable expenses to protect and improve store P&L.
  • Review daily/weekly MIS from all stores, analyze performance, identify gaps and implement action plans for underperforming outlets.
  • Ensure adherence to all statutory, safety and company compliance requirements across the cluster.
  • Coordinate implementation of new product launches, local store marketing initiatives and corporate campaigns to drive footfalls and sales.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure quick resolution to maintain brand reputation.
  • Conduct regular store visits, review store hygiene, staff grooming, visual merchandising and brand standards.
  • Prepare and present periodic performance reports and business reviews to the Regional / Zonal Manager.

Candidate Profile

Graduation in any discipline; a hotel management / hospitality / business management background is preferred but not mandatory.

6–10 years of total experience in the QSR / food service / fast‑moving restaurant industry, with at least 2–3 years in a multi‑unit / cluster / area management role.

Mandatory: Strong QSR experience with reputed, fast‑moving food chains (e.g., burgers, fried chicken, pizza, café or similar formats).

Proven track record of managing multiple outlets and delivering revenue, profitability and operational KPIs.

Demonstrated team leadership skills – ability to lead, motivate and retain large front‑line teams in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment.

Strong understanding of store P&L, cost control levers (labor, food, operating), and basic financial metrics.

Excellent communication, people management, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.

Comfortable working in shifts, weekends and festivals as per business needs.

Familiarity with POS systems, basic MS Excel and reporting tools.
