Role Description
The Cluster Credit Manager will oversee credit operations of cluster.
Manage and monitor team of Branch Credit Managers in a cluster for timely delivery of credit underwritting task within standard organization parameters.
Manage credit assessments, and ensure compliance with organizational credit policies.
Responsibilities include evaluating creditworthiness, monitoring loan portfolios, implementing risk management strategies, and ensuring quality control in the credit approval process.
Reporting to senior management, the Cluster Credit Manager will also collaborate with teams to meet operational and financial targets.
Assist business team in collections to manage the quality portfolio of cluster.
Timely recruitment, training and managing of BCMs
This is a full-time, on-site position located in the Nanded Cluster of Aurangabad Region.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Credit Management and Credit Risk Management
- Proficiency in Analytical Skills and Financial Analysis
- In-depth knowledge of Credit principles and practices
- Ability to assess risk and make informed credit decisions
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Prior experience in the financial services or banking sector is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree or professional certification like CA, CFA is a plus)
- Overall 6 years of experience in Credit underwriting of secured or unsecured loan products catering to rural and suburban customers.
- Minimum 3 years continuous work experience as a Cluster or Area Credit Manager or in a similar role.
