Role Overview
We are looking for a Cloud Systems Engineer to join our Managed Services team. In this role, you will be the bridge between development and production, ensuring our cloud-native applications are scalable, resilient, and deployed seamlessly. Youwon'tjust be maintaining systems; you will beoptimizingmicroservices architectures and refining the automated pipelines that power our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Managed Services & Support: Proactivelymonitor, manage, and scale cloud infrastructure to ensure 99.9% availability for client applications.
- Deployment Automation: Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git to automate the delivery of high-quality code.
- Microservices Orchestration: Manage containerized applications and ensure service-to-service communication is secure and efficient.
- Build Management:UtilizeMaven for consistent build processes and dependency management across various Java-based environments.
- Incident Response: Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and implement long-term fixes to prevent recurrence.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Cloud Proficiency: 3+ years of hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP, Private-Public Cloud).
- Microservices Expertise: Solid understanding of Microservices architecture patterns (API Gateways, Service Discovery, Circuit Breakers).
- CI/CD Mastery: Proven experience configuring Jenkins pipelines and managing version control via Git (branching strategies, merge requests).
- Build Tools: Strongproficiencywith Maven for project object model (POM) management and builds.
- Linux/Scripting: Strong command-line skills and the ability to write scripts (Bash or Python) to automate repetitive tasks.
- Soft Skills: A client-first mindset with the ability to explain technical complexities to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE).
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Certifications such as AWSSysOpsAdministrator or Azure DevOps Engineer.
