Role Overview
We are seeking a Cloud Support Associate to support and maintain Azure cloud environments for internal teams and clients. This role focuses on monitoring, incident resolution, and operational support, ensuring cloud platforms remain available, secure, and cost-effective.
This position is ideal for someone starting or growing a career in cloud operations and support within a Microsoft-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Azure environments for availability, performance, and security
- Respond to incidents, alerts, and service requests in line with SLAs
- Troubleshoot issues related to compute, storage, networking, and access
- Support user access management using Azure AD and role-based access control
- Assist with routine cloud operations, maintenance, and patching
- Document incidents, resolutions, and operational procedures
- Coordinate with cloud engineers and consultants for issue resolution
- Support cost tracking, usage reviews, and basic optimization tasks
- Follow security, governance, and compliance guidelines
Required Skills & Experience
- Basic to intermediate experience with Microsoft Azure
- Understanding of core cloud concepts (compute, storage, networking)
- Familiarity with Azure AD, monitoring, and alerting tools
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues methodically
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Willingness to work in a support or shift-based environment if required
Nice to Have
- Azure certifications (AZ-900, AZ-104, or similar)
- Experience with ticketing systems or IT service management tools
- Exposure to PowerShell or basic scripting
- Experience supporting production cloud environments
- Interest in growing into cloud engineering or consulting roles
