Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Solution Architect - Presales, you will be pivotal in driving the sales cycle by leveraging your deep technical expertise to design and present cloud-based solutions that align with client needs. Your role will encompass solution design, client engagement, and collaboration with sales teams to ensure the delivery of optimal cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Architecture:
- Lead the design and architecture of cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with client requirements.
- Develop and present tailored solutions using platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Client Engagement:
- Engage with clients to understand their business challenges and translate them into technical solutions.
- Conduct discovery sessions, workshops, and presentations to articulate the value proposition of proposed solutions.
- Presales Support:
- Collaborate with sales teams to respond to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, statements of work (SOWs), and presentations.
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate into solution offerings.
- Collaboration & Handover:
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure smooth transition from presales to implementation.
- Ensure that proposed solutions are feasible and align with delivery capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- 8 to 12 years of experience in presales, with a focus on cloud solutions.
- Proven track record in designing and delivering cloud-based solutions.
Technical Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Familiarity with DevOps, FinOps, and SecOps practices.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools and cloud security frameworks.
Certifications (Preferred):
- AWS Certified Solutions ArchitectAssociate/Professional.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Google Professional Cloud Architect.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
