Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls and policies in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis for cloud infrastructure.
• Implement identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security solutions in the cloud.
• Monitor cloud environments for security incidents and respond to threats.
• Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and enforce cloud security best practices, compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
• Perform security audits, penetration testing, and remediation activities.
• Maintain documentation on security architecture, policies, and incident response procedures.
• Keep current with emerging cloud security trends, tools, and technologies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud security engineering or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Expertise in cloud security tools and services (e.g., AWS IAM, Azure Security Center, CloudTrail).
• Strong understanding of network security, encryption, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with security compliance standards and frameworks.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.

Desirable Skills:

• Certifications such as CCSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty, CISSP, or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
• Experience with container security (Kubernetes, Docker) and serverless security.
• Knowledge of SIEM tools and cloud monitoring platforms.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience in DevOps practices and integrating security into Agile workflows.
