Job Summary
We're looking for a Cloud Security Engineer with strong Python skills, hands-on AWS security experience, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) capabilities. You'll develop automation frameworks, implement security controls, conduct architectural reviews, and mitigate threats across our AWS-based tech stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & develop Python automation for security operations
- Deploy & manage secure AWS infrastructure using Terraform
- Implement & optimize Step Functions and Lambda workflows
- Utilize AWS security services: IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Macie, CloudTrail, Control Tower, EventBridge, etc.
- Integrate security automation into CI/CD pipelines
- Perform threat modeling, security assessments, and architecture reviews
- Hands-on support for: Pipeline Security, DevSecOps, Docker, Kubernetes, SIEM, CSPM, Vulnerability Scanners
- Continuously evaluate emerging security trends and AWS best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in CS, IT, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of Python development focused on automation
- 3+ years of hands-on AWS with a focus on security services
- Strong in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
- Experience with AWS Step Functions and Lambda
- Familiar with SIEM, IPS, vulnerability scanners, and compliance frameworks
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certifications (Security Specialty, Solutions Architect)
- Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Harness, Scalr)
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
- Knowledge of secure coding and DevSecOps practices
- Familiarity with GCP/Alibaba Cloud a plus
