Cloud Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures for AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies, procedures, and standards
• Conduct cloud security risk assessments and penetration testing
• Implement cloud security controls, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption
• Monitor and analyse cloud security logs and incident response
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud security is integrated into all aspects of the organization
• Stay up-to-date with cloud security trends, threats, and technologies

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in cloud security engineering
• Strong knowledge of cloud security architectures, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• Experience with cloud security controls, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption
• Strong understanding of cloud security risk management and compliance frameworks (e.g. HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR)
• Experience with cloud security monitoring and incident response tools (e.g. Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Nice to Have:

• Certifications in cloud security, such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
• Experience with cloud security automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform)
• Knowledge of containerization using Docker
• Experience with DevOps tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
