What You'll Do At Pega
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls in AWS and GCP to safeguard against threats and vulnerabilities.
- Automate security operations and workflows using scripting languages such as Python or Golang
- Develop, enforce, and continuously improve security policies, standards, and procedures
- Analyze complex security challenges, propose robust solutions, and drive their implementation end-to-end.
- Act as a trusted security advisor, providing guidance and best practices to cross-functional teams.
- Stay ahead of emerging security threats, trends, and technologies to strengthen cloud security posture.
Who You Are

What You've Accomplished
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 2-6+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Security, focusing on AWS or GCP
- Expertise in AWS Security services and EDR tools
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles, policies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Golang)
- Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, source code management, and containerization.
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with EDR/XDR solutions (e. g., Trend Micro, CrowdStrike).
- Knowledge of container security and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience building applications with API integrations.
- Relevant certifications such as CCSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty, or GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
